The Baby Show Live @ Home adds trade element

The Baby Show Live @ Home, taking place 18-20th June, will be introducing a trade preview day as a bolt on to the consumer virtual event, on Thursday 17th June

After 19 years of being renowned as the UK’s leading pregnancy and baby event, helping millions of expectant parents both live and virtually, The Baby Show has become a highly valued and recognised voice of the industry. 

The Baby Show Live @ Home, taking place 18-20th June, will be introducing a trade preview day as a bolt on to the consumer virtual event, on Thursday 17th June, which is designed to bring brands, buyers and the media together in one place virtually.

An invite-only event, the Trade showcase will welcome the parent and baby industry to meet and engage virtually via sessions, 1-2-1’s and live chats with the best experts and brands in the market to gather trend intelligence, insights, the latest product launches and innovations, plus inspiration for 2022/23 and beyond.

9:45am – 10am: Welcome & Virtual Intro

A warm welcome from The Baby Show’s Director Catherine Thake will open. Catherine will talk about why they are in a strong position based on their 19 years of experience, and to share their learnings and harness their relationships to bring people together. A short video demonstration will follow about how The Baby Show live events have been translated digitally and how the new virtual event platform works.

10 am – 11 am: Buying Trends & Forecasts

In the face of global disruption and radical change, comes a vast opportunity to innovate and respond to the needs of your future consumers. Join Jenna Galley from the global trend forecasting agency TrendBible to find out what’s driving change in the Baby & Kids industry in the next 12-18 months and gain a deep understanding of the key shifts impacting the way families will think, feel and act. A Q&A will be available through the Live Chat function post-presentation and attendees will receive a complimentary login for their new online subscription platform, Your TrendBible.

11am – 12pm: Consumer Insights

With more than 2,000 professional reviews of parenting gear, plus 1000s of user reviews, MadeForMums has the most comprehensive pregnancy, baby and toddler reviews section in the UK. Their award-winning Editorial Director Susie Boone will talk through the latest insights from the active MadeForMums parent community, revealing what features and considerations are most important to them when choosing which parenting products to buy.   

12am – 1:30pm: Launches & Innovations

Some of the industry’s leading brands will be presenting their latest product launches and innovations, whilst a handful of smaller boutique brands will have the opportunity to be involved in the ‘Perfect Pitch’, a 5-minute Dragon’s Den-style presentation aimed at buyers. 

Whilst the morning is packed full of advice, inspiration and innovations, buyers and press will be able to continue to freely browse the platform throughout the afternoon of the 17th until 5pm, to connect further with exhibitors via their virtual booths, with 1-2-1s or live chats as well view their full product ranges and video demonstrations at their leisure.
