Check out the October issue, which is fully focussed on what visitors can expect behind the doors of Harrogate Int. Nursery Fair 2021!

Welcome to the October issue, and what an issue it is! You will see that our main focus is Harrogate Int. Nursery Fair.

The show has grown this year and covers five halls of the Harrogate Convention Centre, housing exhibitors who have supported the show for many years, for example, BabyStyle, DCUK, Roma Prams, Joie, Bebecar, CuddleCo, Venicci – and this year also seeing the welcome return of brands such as Britax, Dorel, iCandy, Cybex, Hippychick, Emmaljunga, Ergobaby, Johnston Prams, and many more.

There will also be many companies who will be exhibiting for the first time, for example  Mamas & Papas, Tonies, Junior Jones, Joy and Joe, The Blinky Co, Eggcellent Lighting Ltd and Doddl. As an industry it has been incredibly difficult over the course of the last 18 months to truly view products that have been launched and as a trade we are definitely ready for Harrogate!

By turning to page 19 you will find our bumper Harrogate preview (easily found in this issue by the preview cover brought to you by CuddleCo), where you can browse many pages all full of products that give you a great flavour of what to expect within the halls of Harrogate this year and also a variety of mini interviews with retailers and suppliers.

We also bring you many company profiles throughout the pages of the preview, including Silver Cross, TFK, Weybury Hildreth, CuddleCo and Ickle Bubba. You will also have noticed that BabyStyle are our cover stars this month.

We take a look at BabyStyle’s personal journey across the last 18 months. When everything got turned upside down in March 2020 due to the impact of the global pandemic, Andy Crane and his senior managers rolled up their sleeves and took to the phones and warehouse after sending all of their other team members home. You can read all about it by simply turning to page 12.

Our contributors this month also bring articles of interest with Pramland’s John Barker sharing his experiences of stock issues vs. customer behaviour and his view with regard to online activity and Online4Baby’s Managing Director, Christy Foster highlights why the Online4baby team are fully focussed on the Harrogate Int. Nursery Fair, while FanFinders focus on World Mental Health Day which takes place this month and reveal the impact of pregnancy and social pressure on UK mum’s mental health.Lastly, this month you will also find nestling among the pages our product spotlight feature .

If you’re looking for products that assist during the weaning journey (page 76), then we’ve got it covered! The Nursery Today team are looking forward to seeing everyone at Harrogate – feel free to pop by our stand and say hello – you’ll find us in Kings Suite, Stand: KS8.
