Born in the north of England, the eponymous babywearing brand, Joy and Joe baby carriers was created by parents for other parents.
The couple, who are one of the leading pioneers for babywearing in the UK, spotted the need for UK manufactured kangaroo care friendly carriers while nursing their baby at a neonatal unit. They are passionate about inspiring families to create beautiful memories with their lovely little ones. Kangaroo care is a technique practiced on new-born babies where the infant is held skin-to-skin with the adult and is proven to facilitate development and please infants.
Joy and Joe baby carriers are super-comfortable, supportive and practical, allowing parents to be hands-free enough to carry on with their day to day lives.
Their carriers are one-size fits all, suitable from birth and UK/EU safety tested to 35lbs. Their baby carriers have been certified by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute.
