BPIA’s 2025 Awards open for entry

The Baby Products Industry Association (BPIA) has announced its 2025 Awards are open for entry.

Previously known as the BANTA Awards these prestigious awards, sponsored by Nursery Today magazine, recognise excellence in the nursery sector and are judged by a panel of industry experts. Judges consider criteria that will likely make nursery products successful in stock ranges for retailers, as well as attractive to consumers. This includes safety, functionality, desirability and value for money.

Julie Milne, General Manager for the Association explains: “These awards are very different from consumer awards, because they take into account specific elements of a product that the judges believe will make them retail effectively – as well as being safe and desirable to the consumer. For example, a fabulous new pushchair with an RRP three times higher than similar products, might well win a consumer award for outstanding features, but the judges might consider it less marketable for retailers due to the prohibitive price point. It is because of this, that colleagues in the industry place the BPIA Awards with such high esteem.”

This year there are 14 categories of Awards to enter including:

  • Car seats
  • Wheeled goods
  • Feeding, weaning and soothers
  • Nursery Furniture
  • Carriers & slings
  • Technology
  • In the nursery
  • Sleep time and accessories
  • Baby toys (0-3 years)
  • Walkers, bouncers and motivators
  • In the bathroom
  • Baby care
  • Environment and sustainability
  • Best New Innovation

Entry to the BPIA Awards for BPIA members is £75 for the first entry and £60 for subsequent entries; and for non-members £125 for the first entry and £110 for subsequent entries (+VAT). The closing date to enter is Friday 16th May 2025.
