Baby Shows Olympia London & NEC Birmingham 2020 postponed

In response to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and the recent Government directives in regards to the pandemic, it is in the best interests of all our visitors, exhibitors, staff and contractors to postpone The Baby Show NEC and Olympia until 2021.

The Baby Show feels strongly not to compromise on the quality of the event, range of brands and visitor experience that the show has become synonymous with delivering. Passionate about safeguarding the brand and honouring its 18-year legacy, both shows will be transitioned into one fully virtual event.

After the success of the first online show in May 2020, The Baby Show Live @ Home with Lidl – will take place on the weekend of Friday 30th October until Sunday 2nd November 2020. This second virtual event will be hosted on a new digital platform and will provide a new online interface including an app for exhibitors to showcase their products over the three days and enable attendees to shop, view product demos and book simultaneous one-to-one appointments.

It is estimated 35,000 new parents and parents to be will participate in this virtual gathering. Visitors will also be able to benefit from two days of exclusive expert talks, speaker Q&A’s, panel discussions and celebrity interviews live from the comfort of their own home.

Zoë Bonser, Show Director of The Baby Show says “As a team, we are so disappointed as we have done everything within our power to try and make the shows happen. We want to thank all our partners, exhibitors, visitors and suppliers who have supported us every step of the way, to bring the shows physically to you this year. We understand that this decision will be a disappointment to both the baby and parenting brands and the expectant and new parents who so eagerly await The Baby Show to get everything they need. We look forward to when we can get together again. In the meantime, we cannot wait to see you all virtually at The Baby Show Live @ Home in October!”

The Baby Show would also like to take the opportunity to thank Headline Sponsors Lidl and Headline Media Partners MadeForMums for their continued partnership, as well as all the loyal exhibitors and brands for their ongoing support. The show organisers look forward to welcoming you all to the UK’s biggest online celebration of everything baby and parenting in October.
