The Baby Show with Lidl GB is a finalist for Best Consumer Show in AEO Excellence Awards.
Securing its position as the UK’s best-loved pregnancy and baby event, the show is organised by Clarion Events and attracts over 80,000 people each year. Filled with hundreds of the nation’s most popular baby brands, the show provides a space for savvy shoppers to find all they could ever need for their new arrival, all under one roof. It also provides unrivalled expert advice from top parenting experts who take to the stage to talk all things sleep, breastfeeding, birth, baby first aid, child development and more.
2023 is the first year that The Baby Show has put on four live consumer events at ExCeL London in March, The NEC Birmingham in May and Olympia London in October, with the introduction of Manchester Central in April.
The ExCeL London 2023 event attracted a huge audience with an 11% increase on ExCeL London 2022 with the Saturday being the busiest day in four years and many brands selling out of products and having their best show on record.
Big-name regular brands that exhibit include iCandy, UPPAbaby, Joie, Tommee Tippee, MAM, Mamas & Papas, Cosatto, Obaby, Nuna, Chicco, BabyBjörn, Nala’s Baby, Daisy First Aid, MOMCOZY, Tutti Bambini, Silver Cross, and Cybex. It also supports lesser-known, boutique and emerging brands in the New Kids on the Block section. They have a hugely popular Buggy Testing Track, where parents-to-be have the chance to take their favourite buggies for a spin on different terrains so they can be confident they’re buying the perfect buggy.
The AEO Excellence Awards celebrate the very best in the event industry. The Baby Show’s ExCeL Show is shortlisted in the Best Consumer Show category, sponsored by LIVEBUZZ and will be up against another Clarion Events show, Destinations – The Holiday & Travel Show, and other hit shows, BoatLife, MOVE IT 2023 and Women in Business & Tech Expo.
Mallory Reynolds-Trout, Show Manager at The Baby Show says: “We are thrilled that our ExCeL Show has been named one of the very best consumer shows in the UK and I am extremely proud of the hard work of my team. It’s difficult to know what to buy when you’re expecting a baby and we want to alleviate parents’ fears and provide a one-stop-shop for all their shopping needs. The baby industry is a non-stop, ever-changing sector with new and emerging brands and innovations launching all the time which the show is proud to showcase and celebrate.”
The AEO Excellence Awards will take place on 16th June at Grosvenor House, Park Lane, London. For more information visit www.thebabyshow.co.uk and www.aeoawards.org.
