Mayborn Group Strengthens Executive Team with Three SeniorLeadership Appointments

Mayborn Group today announces three senior appointments to its leadership team, as the company continues to invest in world-class talent to support its ambitious growth strategy.

At the heart of the portfolio is Tommee Tippee, one of the world’s most recognised and loved parenting brands, trusted by generations of parents and sold in more than 60 countries.

Rachel Costello joins as Group Marketing Director. Rachel leads the Group’s global marketing agenda across brand, creative, partnerships, consumer experience and growth.

Rachel brings an unusually broad perspective to the CMO role, having built her career across both sides of the consumer equation: what brands make, and how they make people want it.

She began her career in product, initially in design and development before moving into buying and category leadership across luxury fine jewellery, watches and fashion. A move to Fossil Group marked her transition into marketing, bringing together her grounding in product, consumer, commerciality and retail with brand building, communications and digital. That combination has gone on to define her career. Across senior global roles, Rachel has led brand and marketing alongside product, e-commerce and customer experience, connecting what a business makes with how consumers discover it, desire it and ultimately choose it.

Most recently, as CMO of My Expert Midwife, Rachel led an end-to-end transformation of the business spanning brand, portfolio, e-commerce and customer experience. In less than nine months, the team delivered an entirely new brand and product portfolio alongside a full e-commerce relaunch, creating a new platform for growth and bringing award-winning products to market.

Neil Simpson joins as Global General Manager – Product Supply. Neil brings extensive international leadership experience across manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, procurement and business transformation, with a track record of building high-performing teams and delivering large-scale transformation programmes that improve safety, quality, service, cost and productivity. He joins from a career spanning Manager, Head of, Director,

COO and MD roles in supply chain and operations. At Mayborn, Neil will lead the company’s global Product Supply organisation, overseeing manufacturing, procurement, planning, logistics and operational excellence.

Lisa Davies joins as Group HR Director. Lisa brings substantial international HR leadership experience having worked in a range of senior roles in global businesses including Atlas Copco and Arriva. Possessing deep expertise in organisational design, talent management, employee engagement, culture transformation and leadership development she has a strong track record of partnering with leadership teams to build capability and support business performance. At Mayborn Group, Lisa will lead the company’s global people agenda, shaping and delivering the HR strategy in support of the company’s growth ambitions.
