This month, the team at ethical nursery retailer, Natural Baby Shower, were proud to welcome Deputy Mayor of Bracknell, Councillor Jenny Penfold, and Executive Member for Economic Development and Regeneration, Councillor Paul Bidwell, to their HQ.

What started as a small Bracknell based business seventeen years ago, born from a passion for sustainable parenting, Natural Baby Shower is now a market-leading, independent retailer, who believe that if you “buy well, you’ll buy once.” NBS are proud to now work with and stock over 140 ethical and premium baby brands and employ over 75 talented and passionate professionals.

They currently have a state-of-the-art and energy efficient HQ in Bracknell, which they invested in to help reduce their carbon footprint and aid their mission to be best for baby, best for parent and best for planet. They also have had an established retail presence for 14 years with their two-storey store in Bagshot, Surrey, which is home to an array of baby and parenting essentials, as well as a team of experienced and knowledgeable nursery specialists who offer a bespoke and personalised customer service.

To name just a few of their achievements, in the last five years alone, NBS has taken over £100m in sales, collaborated with hundreds of well-known and ethical baby brands and taken over 250,000 orders a year. They are also focused on the future, having invested £1 million in technology and infrastructure to support their ambitions, and drive to become the UK’s leading nursery retailer.

Looking back over seventeen years of work, dedication, passion, and energy, I am so proud of where we are now, and how far we have come from two people round a kitchen table. There is to telling where we will be in another seventeen years, but I can say with confidence that the future is bright, and we will never stop trying to do better for people and planet, who will always remain at our core.

I would like to thank Deputy Mayor Jenny Penfold and Councillor Paul Bidwell for their recognition, and for taking the time to come and visit us, it is definitely a business highlight, and one that we will remember and cherish as we look forward to the future.”
