Axkid joins the fight against breast cancer by entering a unique collaboration with the Swedish Breast Cancer Association during Pink October. With the launch of Blossom Rose, a new limited-edition colour for their popular rear-facing car seats, they aim to raise awareness of breast cancer and pay tribute to all the fighting mothers and fathers affected.

The Swedish car seat manufacturer Axkid, Europe’s leading innovator in child safety, has formed a unique partnership with the Swedish Breast Cancer Association, sponsoring Pink October to support research and increase awareness of breast cancer.

In addition to the partnership with the Swedish Breast Cancer Association, which includes a donation of 50,000 SEK to breast cancer research, Axkid is launching a new colour for their popular rear-facing car seats One 3, Minikid 4, and Movekid. The textile, called Blossom Rose, is a tribute to the 8,000 women and 60 men in Sweden who are diagnosed with breast cancer every year.

Blossom Rose will be sold in a limited edition and meets the same high safety and comfort standards expected from an Axkid car seat. The One 3, Minikid 4, and Movekid rear-facing car seats can be used for children up to 7 years of age, ensuring safety and comfort for longer than many other car seats on the market.

About the Swedish Breast Cancer Association’s Work

Breast cancer remains the most common form of cancer among women, affecting 8,000 women and 60 men each year. Today, 9 out of 10 women survive breast cancer – a testament to the incredible advances in research. However, despite the hopeful statistics, there is still much work to be done.

The Swedish Breast Cancer Association is Sweden’s only organization exclusively dedicated to breast cancer. Their vision is that no one should have to face breast cancer. To achieve this, they fund research, spread knowledge about preventive measures, and advocate on breast cancer issues.
