Global growth, a number of significant internal promotions including a new CEO, and some truly iconic product launches is certainly making for an exciting year ahead for fast growing nursery brand, Green Sheep Group (GSG).
As a leader in babies’ bedtime, GSG is embarking on a positive new chapter with its new CEO, Paul Maurice heading the flock. As one of the original co-founders, stepping into this role has been a natural development for Paul, who has been integral in the business since it started in 2006.
Surrounding himself with a like-minded, driven team, Paul has recently confirmed a number of significant internal promotions to join him alongside long-standing board members David Wood (Executive Chairman) and Rosie Pritchard (Sales Director). Newly appointed Lianne Bishop (Finance Director), Jamie Jillard (Marketing Director) and Joshua Worrad (Product Director), all share a commitment to the brand’s values and ambitions.
As well as a diverse range of skills, the board brings first-hand experience to the day-to-day running of GSG; all parents and 50% of the board working mothers. The new board presents a true representation of the brands audience, ultimately the team is not only putting the customer at the heart of everything they do but also enabling them to develop relevant products for the busy, modern parent.
Building on the brand’s 18-year heritage, this new board, headed by one of the founders himself, has created real stability to lead GSG into the future, and with so many developments it’s set to be a truly exciting one! Behind the scenes GSG is working on an exciting collaboration, as well as putting the final touches on a major product development being unveiled in February 2025. The team is also nurturing partnerships with retailers both here and internationally as the brand is expanding globally across the US, Australia, New Zealand, Europe and the Middle East.
As the home of two leading brands, Snüz, that pioneered the bedside crib category when it launched the iconic SnüzPod and The Little Green Sheep, which promises a truly natural nursery, GSG has experienced phenomenal success over the years, but the team is always looking ahead. With plans for further investment in recruitment, GSG will continue to focus on the future, leading the charge on product innovation and excellence to continue to deliver unsurpassed quality to our retailers and safety for babies’ bedtime.
