Certification confirms the Swedish hygiene care brand’s long-standing commitment to verified standards for responsible business.
Naty is now a Certified B Corporation, meeting verified standards for social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. The certification formally confirms how the company has operated since it was founded in 1994.
Certified B Corporations, or B Corps, are companies verified by B Lab to meet high standards of social and environmental business practices, transparency, and accountability. B Corp certification applies to the company as a whole, rather than individual products, and assesses how a business operates across governance, workers, community, and environmental impact.
“Naty is now a Certified B Corporation, and we’re incredibly proud of this milestone,” says Johanna Sjöborg, CEO of Naty. “Not because it changes who we are, but because it confirms how Naty has operated since it was founded in 1994. Hygiene products are in contact with skin for many hours every day, yet regulations for this category remain limited. From the beginning, we chose to work with independent verification for our promises and claims, and with certified materials. We seek to lead with plant-based alternatives rather than oil-based materials that have long been the category standard. B Corp is a natural extension of that philosophy. It’s not about perfection, it’s about progress, and about being part of a global community working to build better business for people and the planet.”
For Naty, becoming a Certified B Corporation marks a natural milestone rather than a change in direction. Founded by a Swedish mother seeking safer alternatives for her baby, the company has spent more than three decades developing hygiene products with a skin-first approach, decreasing dependance on oil-based plastic and independent verification long before such expectations were widely established in the category. Seeking to benefit people and planet.
B Corp certification follows in line with this approach to the company’s overall business practices, where social, environmental, and governance considerations are already embedded into decision-making and accountability structures.
As a Certified B Corporation, Naty joins a global community of companies using business as a force for good and working collectively towards a more inclusive, equitable, and responsible economy.
