Bambino Mio unveils SS26 Collection with Performance-Led Reusable Range Redesign

Bambino Mio has unveiled its SS26 collection, marking a significant reinvention of its reusable nappy and potty training range. The updated portfolio introduces performance-led innovations across its core products, designed to support families from newborn through to potty training, while driving growth in the reusable category.

The redesigned range includes the brand’s flagship Revolutionary Reusable Nappy and the brand new Elite Potty Training Pants, both technically refined for an improved fit and enhanced leak protection. The refresh reflects Bambino Mio’s continued commitment to delivering reliable, easy-to-use solutions that meet the evolving expectations of today’s parents.

At the centre of the launch are the new Elite Potty Training Pants, developed with a breathable, absorbent 100% cotton core and waterproof layer. Designed to support a child-led approach to potty training, the pants effectively contain small leaks providing a sensory prompt for toddlers to recognise the sensation of needing to use the potty, encouraging progression to independent toilet use.

Potty training is emerging as a key growth opportunity within the baby category. Recent UK research including surveys of primary school teachers by Kindred Squared, indicates that around one in four children now start school without being fully toilet trained, highlighting a growing need for effective transition solutions. 

For retailers, this represents a clear opportunity to support families at a critical stage of development. The award-winning one-size Revolutionary Reusable Nappy, which is suitable from birth, has undergone technical refinement to optimise its fit. The improvements are designed to increase reliability and reduce leaks, supporting stronger consumer confidence and repeat purchase within the reusables category.

Across the entire collection, Bambino Mio has standardised OEKO-TEX certified fabrics, reinforcing its commitment to skin-kind materials. The range is free from unnecessary chemicals and absorbent gels, aligning with growing consumer demand for gentler, more transparent baby care.

The SS26 collection also introduces 15 new prints, developed to enhance shelf appeal and drive consumer engagement. Inspired by toddler personalities and developmental stages, the designs bring a fresh, contemporary aesthetic to the reusable category, supporting both in-store visibility and online conversion.

Packaging has undergone a refresh, it is now right-sized for efficiency removing wasted space. This not only reduces material use but emphasises Bambino Mio’s inherent focus on sustainability goals. The new packaging is designed to simplify retailer merchandising and plan shelf layouts more efficiently. Packaging is now also multi-language to support retail partners across different territories.
