Aldi is on the lookout for a toy fanatic to claim the role of a lifetime and be appointed as its first ever Wooden Toy Tester.
The supermarket is calling on children across the country to apply, explaining why they should be chosen and what make-believe dish they would cook up in their very own toy kitchen. Be it a classic cheeseburger or messy mud pies – no dish is off limits!
The successful winner will receive a selection of Aldi’s latest Wooden Toys for free – including the Wooden Outdoor BBQ (£24.99) complete with BBQ Food Accessories (£9.99) and the fun-packed Mud Kitchen (£34.99) and Mud Kitchen Accessories (£9.99), to make sure they have everything they need to feel like they’re the head chef of their very own garden.
Loved by shoppers so much, Aldi’s previous Wooden Toy launches have been so popular that the discount retailer has had to put a ‘two per shopper’ limit on purchases – making this adorable new job role the ultimate way to secure the bound-to-be popular range.
All Aldi asks in return is a short review rating the toys on performance and fun factor to help guide the supermarket’s Buying Team on future product development.
Julie Ashfield, Chief Commercial Officer at Aldi UK, said: “The nation’s love for our Wooden Toy range is undeniable and our littlest shoppers are our most important critics! We’re excited to appoint our first ever Wooden Toy Tester, to capture their experience and find out what makes the perfect playtime set-up, guaranteeing lots of giggles and fun.”
For a chance to win the role of a lifetime, little hopefuls simply need to send a 1-minute-long video to woodentoytester@aldi.co.uk with the following details to enter:
