Joie is delighted to announce a new partnership with Theodora Children’s Charity, in a move that is set to support thousands of children living with illness, disability and serious health challenges.
As a world-renowned baby gear brand, families are at the heart of everything that Joie does. Its belief in family first coheres with the work carried out by Theodora’s Children’s Charity. By combining music, play, magic tricks and storytelling, Theodora’s specially trained Giggle Doctors visit 17 hospitals and care centres around England. Their mission is to help alleviate anxiety and help to transform the hospital experience and create meaningful moments of play to support children’s emotional wellbeing.
Being in hospital can be a very traumatic and stressful experience, especially for a child. Through the partnership, Joie’s support will help the Theodora Giggle Doctors to bring moments of joy, laughter and connection to nearly two thousand children, while also having a positive impact on thousands of parents, carers, siblings and hospital staff.
