BTL Diffusion has been appointed as the new UK distributor for Crocodile Creek, marking the start of a new chapter for the popular children’s lifestyle brand as Hippychick’s Julia and Jeremy Minchin prepare for retirement.
After four years of growing the brand’s presence in the UK, the Minchins say they are proud of what has been achieved and are confident BTL Diffusion is well placed to build on that success. Jeremy Minchin commented that the company wanted to ensure Crocodile Creek was in the best possible hands for its next phase of growth.
The transition will also see Mike Bird join the BTL team, providing continuity for retailers and customers. Having played a key role in establishing the brand in the UK, Mike will continue to support existing stockists while helping to develop new retail partnerships.
Graeme Hargreaves of BTL Diffusion said the company is delighted to welcome Crocodile Creek to its portfolio and looks forward to working with retailers across the UK. He also thanked the Hippychick team for their support throughout the handover and wished Julia and Jeremy a happy retirement.
Hippychick will continue to supply the Crocodile Creek Arts & Crafts range while existing stocks remain available.
Julia and Jeremy also extended their thanks to retailers, customers and industry partners for their support over the years and said they look forward to seeing the brand continue to grow under its new distributor.
