Silver Cross has strengthened its position as a trusted choice for parents, with its Glide Plus 360 infant carrier earning an ADAC-approved rating in the latest Spring 2026 car seat tests.
Achieving a “Good” rating with a score of 2.4, Glide Plus 360 was the highest-scoring lie-flat infant carrier in the latest round of testing, placing it among the top-performing seats endorsed by ADAC, Europe’s most respected independent car seat authority.
Widely recognised as the gold standard in car seat safety testing, ADAC goes beyond regulatory requirements, subjecting products to more demanding, real-world impact conditions than those required under Regulation R129.
Only seats that meet its rigorous benchmarks across safety, ease of use, ergonomics, harmful substances and environmental impact receive its sought-after recommendation.
The Glide Plus 360’s “Good” rating confirms its status as an ADAC-approved choice for parents seeking exceptional safety and comfort from day one.
Hamish McPhillips, Head of Category at Silver Cross, said: “ADAC approval is one of the most important benchmarks for parents when choosing a car seat, so we’re incredibly proud that Glide Plus 360 has achieved such a strong result. With tougher ADAC protocols introduced in 2026, this recognition underlines our commitment to delivering trusted, high-performance travel solutions for families.”
Further reinforcing the brand’s strong performance, the Glide Plus 360 used with the Silver Cross Base Plus 360 and the multi-stage Approach Plus 360 car seat and Base Plus 360 achieved “Satisfactory” ratings (with scores of 3.1 and 3.0 respectively), meaning all tested models are ADAC approved.
The results continue Silver Cross’ proven track record of success in independent testing, building on its landmark achievement in 2019 when the Dream infant carrier received the highest ADAC score ever awarded to a child car seat.
