Harrogate reacts positively to stakeholder feedback with the show being moved to October 2021.
Following the announcement that Harrogate International Nursery Fair was scheduled to return to the Harrogate Convention Centre in June once the UK covid lockdown is lifted, the organising team has listened and responded to show participants and decided to reschedule the event to 17th to 19th October 2021.
Adrian Sneyd, show organiser, explains: “With the government announcing the end of lockdown from 21st June, we and many others in the industry were keen to get the show back on the road as soon as possible. However, having now spoken to many of our exhibitors, a show later in the year will be a better fit for their product launches more usual to the Autumn period.
We are also aware that whilst visitor feedback has been extremely positive and retailers and buyers are extremely keen to attend a physical show again, for some the June date still felt uncomfortably soon after the lockdown lift. We are confident that the new October dates will present a much clearer picture, building confidence and allowing more time to organise their stay and travel plans.”
The show organisers are currently rearranging bookings and contacting companies already signed up for the June show. However, there is still space available for more brands wishing to participate.
