Micralite, the nursery brand known for making parents’ lives easier, celebrated huge success at this year’s Made For Mum Awards, with wins across three categories – including two Gold wins and one Editor’s Choice Award.
The prestigious awards use real parents to test over 1,000 products, with a grand total of 3,000 hours spent trying and testing brands.
In the Travel Cot Category, the judges awarded Gold to Micralite Sleep&Go – the travel cot which pops up and down in seconds, making it incredibly easy to travel with little ones. The judges scored highly for the product’s ease of assembly and quality, highlighting the sophisticated carry case, which makes it a great value-for-money option for holidays and overnight stays.
Mum and product tester, Emma, said: “It’s extremely quick and easy to put up. The instructions are clear and concise – perfect for when you are in a rush. As our baby is still a wobbly sitter, this has also been really handy when used as a playpen; there’s no risk of getting hurt if she falls back in it.”
Micralite’s GetGo also picked up Gold in the Newborn Pram / Pushchair under £700 category. The Micralite pushchair was highly praised for ease of use and value for money. One tester commented: “The GetGo is incredibly easy to steer and navigate different terrain. It has great suspension, plus it’s easy to unfold and fold, especially when separated into 2 parts making it easier to store. I was so impressed; I expected a pram of such high quality to cost more.”
Micralite also took home a coveted Editor’s Choice Award for the innovative Eat & Play Highchair. Suitable from 6 months to around 5 years, the 4-in-1 design means this can be used as a traditional highchair or a low seat, with the bottom half transforming into a little table without the need for any tools.
