Kids Planet Day Nurseries, one of the UK’s largest nursery groups, and Kit & Kin, the sustainable lifestyle brand co-founded by Spice Girl Emma Bunton, have announced a new partnership which is set to save 400 acres of rainforest every year.
Kids Planet has joined forces with Kit & Kin to provide its award-winning eco nappies, hypoallergenic wipes, biodegradable nappy sacks, and natural magic salve in all of its nurseries across the country.
The move has been driven by the group’s commitment to making the world a happier, safer place for children to learn and develop. Every Kids Planet setting provides an all-inclusive offering where nappies, baby formula and wipes are included, so all parents need to do is turn up, and the rest is in safe hands.
Kit & Kin nappies are made with plant-based materials, wrapped in 100% recyclable paper packaging and produced in a carbon-neutral factory. Plus, all products are designed with the wellbeing of young children and babies in mind; they’re gentle on skin and free of harsh chemicals.
As a certified B Corp, Kit & Kin is committed to caring for people and the planet. Every product purchased contributes to the permanent protection of acres of precious rainforest through the World Land Trust – and thanks to this new partnership with Kids Planet, they will jointly be protecting 400 acres every year (equivalent to 6,400 tennis courts).
Co-Founder of Kit & Kin, Emma Bunton said: “Thanks to our new partnership with Kids Planet, I’m incredibly excited that so many little ones will now be wearing Kit & Kin nappies. We’re reaching more and more families across the UK with our range of super-gentle, award-winning products and making a real difference along the way.”
Co-Founder and Managing Director of Kit & Kin, Christopher Money commented: “The world is changing – we’re looking for planet-conscious solutions that don’t compromise on performance in our day-to-day lives. Kids Planet isn’t just investing in the now, but is investing in the future for our children by partnering with Kit & Kin.”
Clare Roberts OBE, founder of Kids Planet said: “We’re really excited about partnering with Kit & Kin. They are a driving force in making change for good, and we’re delighted to be part of the journey to help protect the planet our youngest generation are growing up in. Our outdoor learning approach aligns with Kit & Kin’s values, making sure that as children explore their environment and interact with others, they’ll be comfortable, safe and secure. As a family-led business ourselves, we know how busy life can get for parents, they trust us to provide the highest-quality of care for their children and we’re proud that sustainable, award-winning essentials are now part of that offering.”
