New for 2021, Chicco is expanding its much loved Next2Me range with the launch of Next2Me Forever – the first evolutionary side-sleeping crib that can be used from birth through to four years.
The Chicco Next2Me Forever can be used in three different configurations, offering a longer-lasting sleep space for little ones. As well as offering the side-sleeping crib that parents have come to know and love, the Chicco Next2Me Forever can also be transformed into a standalone cot and then a toddler bed, from 18 months.
Thanks to the new design with higher sides, the bedside crib is approved for use in the side-sleeping mode for longer, allowing parents to keep their little one closer to them during the night beyond six months. It also enables parents to move little one into a standalone cot when they feel is suitable, rather than being restricted to the six-month age limit on most side-sleeping cribs.
Another new revolutionary feature of the Chicco Next2Me Forever is the patented anti-misuse safety system. This is activated by the buckles used to attach the crib to the parents’ bed, and prevents the side panel from remaining lowered unless it is securely fastened in the correct position. It therefore also prevents the side panel from remaining lowered when in free-standing cot mode. Not only does this make it incredibly easy for parents to identify incorrect set-up, it also ensures maximum safety for baby.
This extended crib also provides a familiar sleeptime environment for little one, helping to make the transition smoother when the time comes for them to move into their own room. The four swivelling wheels with brakes make it easy to move the Chicco Next2Me Forever around the home, out of parents’ bedroom and into little one’s room as a free-standing cot when the time is right.
When the child reaches 18 months, the side panel and legs can be removed from the Chicco Next2Me Forever, quickly and easily transforming it into a floor-level toddler bed. This style of bed plays an important role in child-led sleeping, allowing them to develop a good sleep routine and helping them feel comfortable sleeping alone in their own room.
As well as these game-changing new features, the Chicco Next2Me Forever includes all of the most-loved functions of the original side-sleeping cribs from Chicco. With foldable feet and 11 adjustable height settings, it can be attached to almost any bed. The crib also offers a tilt function to help ease reflux and aid digestion as little one sleeps. The mesh windows provide enhanced air flow and improved visibility, whilst the firm but comfortable transpirant mattress is designed to keep the correct posture for baby during the night.
The Chicco Next2Me Forever is available in two neutral colours that perfectly complement modern bedrooms and nurseries; Cool Grey and John Lewis exclusive, Moon Grey. A range of Chicco sleeptime accessories are also available for the Chicco Next2Me Forever, including bed sheets and a mattress cover.
